To begin the booking process, simply inquire through my contact form and I will get back to you within 1 to 3 days. We’ll talk about your vision for the session and choose a date that works best. To officially secure your date, a signed photography contract and booking retainer are required. From there, we’ll plan all the details together, including location ideas, styling, mood boards, and anything else needed to bring your vision to life before the session date.

Turnaround time depends on the type of session. Couples and portrait sessions are typically delivered within 2 to 3 weeks, while elopements and weddings usually take around 4 to 6 weeks. Once finished, you will receive a link to an online gallery with your high quality edited images available for download.

If you’re unsure whether film or digital is the best fit for your session, don’t worry! I have a section on my website dedicated to helping explain the differences, along with plenty of examples on my Instagram feed. My captions will indicate whether the photos were shot on film or digital. I also love when clients send me posts they’re drawn to so I can better understand the aesthetic they’re envisioning and help recommend what would fit best. If you’re interested in both, I also offer film and digital add ons for sessions.

Film photography is a traditional form of photography that uses light and chemistry to create images on analog film, which is why many people call it a chemical miracle. Unlike digital photography, each image is intentionally captured frame by frame and cannot be seen immediately. After your session, I send the film to a local Hawai‘i film lab where it is professionally developed and scanned into high quality digital files. I then edit and deliver the images to you through an online gallery, just like digital photos.

YES! I’m always open to traveling and would LOVE to document your story wherever it takes place. Travel fees may apply depending on the location, so please inquire for more details.

Don’t worry at all, that’s my job! I’ll guide you through poses and prompts during the entire session so nothing feels awkward or forced. Think of it more like a date than a photoshoot. My goal is for you to feel connected, comfortable, and genuinely have fun together. I love using candid prompts that create natural moments and real emotion.

We’ll discuss what outfits best fit the aesthetic and vibe you’re going for during your session. I’m always happy to help with styling guidance and send inspiration/examples to make sure everything feels cohesive and true to you.

I’m completely comfortable shooting in any weather. I honestly believe rain can add so much to the aesthetic and emotion of a session. Every session is unique and beautiful in its own way. If you would prefer to reschedule due to weather, it will be based on my availability. Please keep in mind that booking retainers are nonrefundable if we are unable to find a new date.
